The Company
Kindwell Solutions is a systems integration and AI agent development shop based in Deerfield Beach, Florida. They design and deploy Hermes Agents for clients who need automation built and running fast, without standing up their own infrastructure team.
Their engagement model depends on speed. A client hires Kindwell to solve a specific operational bottleneck, and the clock starts immediately. Every day spent configuring infrastructure instead of building agent logic is a day the client isn't seeing value.
That constraint shaped how they chose a compute platform.
The Challenge
One recent engagement: Undersun Premium Suppliers, a growth-stage Amazon reseller, was burning three people's time, 35 to 40 hours a week combined, on manual supplier sourcing and onboarding. Every new product category made the bottleneck worse.
Kindwell's job was to build an agent that could research suppliers, score them against Undersun's criteria, and handle onboarding paperwork end to end. That part was straightforward agent logic.
The infrastructure underneath it wasn't. A build like this normally means standing up a VM or container cluster, hand-managing secrets and networking, and validating the runtime before any agent code can even run. That setup work usually adds two to three days to an engagement, before the actual product gets built.
The Solution
Kindwell deployed a purpose-built Hermes Agent on Orion to run Undersun's supplier sourcing and onboarding pipeline. The agent researches suppliers across trade directories and open web sources, scores each candidate, then pulls and pre-fills onboarding documents for a single human review and signature.
Provisioning the Hermes instance took one operation instead of a multi-day setup. Kindwell configured agent profiles and tool permissions inside their Orion project namespace and went straight to building agent logic. Secrets management, namespace isolation, and compute allocation were the platform's job, not theirs.
Agent provisioning finished in under 4 minutes, against 2 to 3 days of manual setup. Iteration cycles dropped from hours to minutes through Orion's port-forward workflow.
The Results
The full engagement, from kickoff to a working agent in production, took 9 business days. Kindwell had estimated 15 to 18 without Orion. Against its prior builds, deployment was 60% faster because of Orion provisioning.
For Undersun, the agent cut supplier research from roughly 45 minutes per candidate to under 3, and onboarding paperwork from about 90 minutes to 8 minutes of human review. Monthly supplier onboarding went from 6 to 22, and the error rate on onboarding submissions dropped from about 18% to under 2%.
Three people got roughly 32 hours a week back, which works out to about $58,000 a year in redirected team capacity.
